4". A rectangular-shaped wooden box is decorated wiwth an oil-painted scene of the countryside with trees, paths, flowers, statue in ruins, and a woman and man posed amidst the scene. The box sides are black lacquered with floral decorations. The top of the case has a centered oval silver lid with lightly embossed design of a bird with flowers, that opens to reveal a brightly-feathered bird resting on a silver cutwork frame with a silver bird design in the center.
