29" (74 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump cheeks and chin, sculpted bosom and shoulderblades, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the very full and outlined lips, rare painted teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and joints, bisque lower arms and hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (circle dot symbol of head) 10 (shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his early model known as "circle dot", circa 1880. Value Points: rare size on the early model, enhanced with finest bisque and sculpting, original wig, body, perfect hands, and beautiful antique costume.
