Bisque socket head with slender angular face,blue glass sleep eyes,mohair lashes,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,open mouth with slightly-parted lips,row of tiny porcelain teeth,impressed chin dimple,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,light old body retouch. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 20 Le Parisien. Comments: Jules Steiner,circa 1888. Value Points: very beautiful face enhanced by fine bisque,dainty teeth,rare mohair lashes,and superb antique costume.
