14" (36 cm.) All wooden carved doll, socket head, intaglio-sculpted painted brown eyes, black upper eyeliner, white eye dots, accented nostrils, very full cheeks, pointy chin with hint of dimple, closed mouth with primly-shaped lips, lightly-feathered brows, brunette mohair tacked-on wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, old touch-up on nose. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan 17, '11 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, model 311, the 14" model was made from 1912-1916. Value Points: rare model has wonderful endearing expression, especially fine sculpting of eyes, and is wearing original Schoenhut dress, knit teddy, stockings, and unusual original Schoenhut shoes.
