Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,large blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with shapely torso,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (and artist checkmarks). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1877. Value Points: petite poupee has very sturdy original body (excepting some finger wear and entrancing large eyes; the rare transitional model also served as the first "face" of the Jumeau bebe.
