8" (20 cm.) Each is all-wooden with painted features, including young girl with blonde painted hair, blue eyes, row of painted teeth, original costume, and wooden lamb with glass eyes, carved detail of "wool", carved tail, shaded detail of brown eyeshadow, jointing at neck and legs, with original red bow and brass bell. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine state of preservation of the themed set, also includes school desk with bench, wooden trough, and cardboard slate and First Reader lesson plan.
