Description
4" (10 cm.) larger. Larger has porcelain shoulderhead with brown painted hair and a sculpted Charlotte cap, painted facial features, muslin body, bisque lower limbs; smaller has bisque shoulderhead with brown painted hair, blue "porkpie" bonnet with floral decoration, wooden limbs with painted shoes, muslin body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: rare sculpted bonnets, each wearing original costume, the bisque model with outstanding painting of tiny facial features.
