23" (58 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with rounded facial modeling, elongated throat, sculpted very pale blonde hair in arranged finger curls, deeply set eye sockets with painted upper glancing eyes, red and black eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips,(new) muslin stitch-jointed body and bisque lower limbs, pretty antique black taffeta gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: superb detail of eye sculpting, excellent quality of bisque and painting.
