20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with elongated throat,deeply-sculpted blonde hair with elaborately-arranged curls featuring a tiny braid and ringlet curls at her center crown,fully-sculpted pierced ears,cobalt blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,eye liner,closed mouth with center accent,sculpted bodice with tucks and ruffles,and original incised hole for insertion of brooch,muslin stitch-jointed body,new bisque lower arms and legs,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include glass eyes,very fancy coiffure,fancy bodice with hole for attachment of brooch.
