10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head turned to the side, sculpted short brown hair with casual forelock curls, inset enamel eyes, open mouth, two teeth, tongue tip, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings and black heavy shoes, wearing original costume comprising laced jacket with patches, short pants, and carrying walking stick. Very good condition, original finish somewhat rubbed on face and legs. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
