18" (46 cm.) All-composition with socket head, hazel sleep eyes, painted features, real lashes, open mouth, row of teeth, dimpled cheeks, blonde mohair wig with ringlet curls. Condition: generally excellent, few little craze lines on body, eyes faded. Marks: Shirley Temple Cop. Ideal N&T Co (head) Shirley Temple (torso). Comments: Ideal, circa 1936, portrait of the child film star. Value Points: having fine original ringlet curled wig with red ribbon, and wearing rare original middy uniform from the 1936 film "Captain January", comprising middy shirt, bell bottoms with red buttons, sailor cap, undergarments, shoes and socks.
