14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with brown flocked side-parted hair,painted facial features with deeply-intaglio blue eyes,black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with downcast center line lending a pouting expression,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,wearing brown velvet suit and cap,leather ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7602 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: the charming little lad carries a red folio with silver lettering "Musik" containing miniature sheet music,and owns a pull-toy horse with leather harness,flannel saddle,on wooden platform with spoked wheels.
