18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with brown muslin stitch-shaped face, painted features, cut eye sockets with painted whites and black metal pupils, long pink-lined floppy ears, brown muslin body with large feet, wearing original costume comprising blue cotton pants with yellow flowered bands, yellow felt vest, purple felt jacket, cotton shirt, felt hat. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Georgene Novelties, circa 1943, the humorous bunny depicts Uncle Wiggily of storybook fame. Value Points: rarely found figure in wonderful condition, fine detail of facial construction, original costume. Included are two books: Uncle Wiggily’s Airship by Howard Garis, Platt & Munk, 1939, and Uncle Wiggily’s Happy Days by Howard Garis, Platt & Munk, 1947.
