Description
26" (66 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, long painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, short brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, "breather" nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, wobble tongue, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume and kidskin slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany 99/15 (head) K&W (body stamp). Comments: Konig and Warnecke, circa 1915. Value Points: rare large size with outstanding quality of bisque and sculpting, fine luminous patina, original body and body finish.
