25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips,blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique sailor costume, straw bonnet, shoes, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 62. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their model marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling). Value Points: very pretty wistful-faced child with unusual plumpness of cheeks enhanced by lovely bisque and painting, original body finish.
