9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with blonde painted baby hair, two different faces are revealed; one with blue glass eyes, closed mouth, beaded teeth, as though a happy child; the other with narrow painted brown eyes, heavy eyelids, scowling expression, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition bent limb baby body, antique baby gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 159 2/0. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model in appealing small size with two expressive faces.
