Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed composition head with flanged neck, lightly tinted baby hair, blue sleep eyes in half-moon shape, painted lashes and brows, rounded nose, slightly open mouth with tongue, pink muslin body with composition limbs, original baby gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent, especially lovely complexion. Marks: c. Lamkins. Comments: Effanbee, 1931, the doll has distinctively modeled hands with little curled fingers, and chubby curled legs and toes; the limbs were used uniquely for this doll. Value Points: the doll is preserved in its original box with advertising on the inner lid, and is resting in fitted wicker layette.
