Description
22" (56 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde baby hair with brush-stroked detail, blue glass sleep eyes, dark painted eyeliner, curly lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, slightly parted lips, two porcelain lower teeth, composition bent limb baby body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, dark seam lines around head are original. Marks: JDK Made in Germany 20. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: very beautiful pale bisque with rich detail of sculpting on the large realistically sculpted baby.
