Porcelain swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on porcelain shoulder plate, plump facial modeling, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, softly stuffed kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms with dowel jointing at shoulders, porcelain arms to above the elbows, brunette mohair wig. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Brevete SGDG Rohmer (stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: very beautiful petite poupee with fine luminous porcelain, brilliant eyes, original body, wearing original muslin gown, undergarments, beaded cap with lace streamers, cream kidskin shoes.
