Porcelain shoulder head with very plump facial modeling in the enfantine style, painted blue upper glancing eyes with distinctive decorative glaze, black upper eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, circle accented nostrils, closed mouth with center line between the lips, unpierced ears, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French kid body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, porcelain arms from above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Adelaide Huret, having her distinctive style of facial decoration found on earliest models, circa 1857. Value Points: very beautiful and rare early poupee with beautifully shaped hands, fine luminous porcelain, softly blushed cheeks, wearing lovely antique costume, bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
