23" (58 cm.) l. x 13"h. x 12"d. The neat wooden grocery with natural finish accented by red trim,with 12 wooden spice drawers with porcelain labels,center niche with display etagere,built-in shelving on the side walls framed by spindled railings that are repeated on the back wall. There are fancy columns at the front,a matching counter and a decorative pediment on the center back. The store is filled with groceries,tins,stoneware jugs with original labels,bottles,shopping bags,bolts of fabric,along with a scale,tin wall telephone,bisque storekeeper and two little girls shopping for candy. Excellent condition. Germany,Christian Hacker,circa 1890.
