Description
36" (91 cm.) l. x 16"h. x 18"d. The large three-sided kitchen with angled walls has original cream paint with blue trim,and lithographed paper on the lower wall depicting Dutch tiles along with village and sea scenes. The original stove has a blue faux-tile border to match,embossed brick design,cream painting finish,brass oven doors and a nickel-plated stove top with original lidded pots. Original wooden furnishings are painted cream with blue trim,and include two hanging shelves,elaborate work table with cupboard base,bench,table,two chairs with heart-shaped designs,floor-standing broom rack,foot stool,and a wonderful board with pebbled-glass windows and pierced tin pie-safe openings on the lower doors. There is a hanging towel rack with porcelain labels,hanging utensil wooden rack,tin wall-hanging sink,and tin spoon rack with spoons. A fine porcelain canister set is decorated with blue and gold designs,along with porcelain rolling pin,covered sausage dish,and a bounty of blue enamel ware plates,pots and utensils. A 9" German bisque doll by Franz Schmidt is included. Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1910.
