16" (41 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with deeply-sculpted hair in loosely woven braids that are drawn around the side of her head and captured in a sculpted pink bow,deep blue intaglio eyes with white eyedots,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent dots,all-wooden spring-jointed body,nicely costumed in plaid cotton dress,undergarments,knit stockings,and original Schoenhut shoes with grommet-edged holes in soles. Condition: generally excellent,some typical paint rubs on hair. Marks: Schoenhut Pat. Jan 17,'11 US & Foreign Countries (torso). Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1912.
