All-wooden doll with painted facial features,light-blue painted eyes,painted upper eyeliner and one stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with pouting expression,blonde mohair tacked-on wig,all wooden body with one-piece arms sculpted with bent elbows,one-piece hinged-hip legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: HE Schoenhut c. 1913 (head) Schoenhut Walkable Doll Patents USA Jan. 17, 11,Dec. 30 1919 Mar. 23 1920 (paper label on torso). Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1920. Value Points: in unplayed with condition,with beautiful complexion and wig,the doll wears its original muslin chemise,has original Schoenhut pin,and is presented in original box with advertising and directions for making the doll walk as well as the useful instruction"do not soak the doll in water".
