All cloth doll has pressed and oil-painted face and hair depicting an oval-faced child with heart-shaped face, thick blonde hair painted impasto style with two detailed short braids at the nape, painted blue eyes, red and black eyeliner, lightly tinted brows, strong nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented full lips, cotton sateen body stocking, oil-painted cloth limbs with stitch-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, separate thumbs, wearing original dress, apron and shoes. Condition: near mint. Comments: the model "Little Nell" by Martha Chase, circa 1900. Value Points: pristine condition with beautiful artistic painting, distinctive facial shape and hair style.
