Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with deluxe neck articulation allowing the head to tilt forward and to the side as well as standard swivel,blue glass inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,closed mouth with heart-shaped outlined upper lip,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed poupee body with slender torso,gusset-jointing of hips,knees and elbows,stitched and separated finger. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4. Comments: French,circa 1867,the poupee has rare neck articulation depose by Alexandre Dehors in 1866. Value Points: an especially beautiful poupee with rare articulation,very sturdy original body,choice bisque and painting,and very lovely antique gown,undergarments,stockings and shoes.
