20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wistful expression, accented lips with decorative glaze, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, marketed as "Mein Susser Liebling" (my sweet darling),from their character series. Value Points: very sweet child with pretty yet characterized expression, lovely bisque and painting, original body finish, wonderful antique costume.
