Large and Stately German Wooden Dollhouse with Etched Window

27" (69 cm.) l. x 27"h. x 13"d. The stately two-story dollhouse has a finely-finished paper over wood exterior featuring elaborately-arranged stone and brick work with eight panel-framed windows centering an outset front that extends the height of the two levels as well as the attic,with an opening double front door above four graduated width steps at the first floor,and a large etched glass window on the second floor. The decoration continues around the two sides,and the back is open for access to the six interior rooms,each with original floor and wall papers,with four steps leading from the entrance door down to the hall floor,and with original painted doors at each opening. Original un-restored condition,excepting chimneys. Germany,circa 1890,a wonderful larger house with extravagant architectural details and rare etched window.
