12" (30 cm.) h. breastplate. Of fine polished metal, the set comprises two-part breastplate with brass and leather strap attachments, and with brass ornamentation at the front, along with matching helmet which is decorated with embossed brass ornamentation in the shape of a family crest with various symbols. Excellent condition. French, late 1800s.
