Description
4" (10 cm.) One piece bisque head, torso and legs, loop-jointed arms, painted blonde topknot, and side curls, blue wings, painted white bobby socks with blue rims and black bow-trimmed shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (impressed on feet). Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, produced in Germany, circa 1912. Value Points: Kewpie wears his factory original Scottish costume, has rare painted shoes and socks.
