Of polychromed terra cotta, the very plump young man with sculpted coat and student's cap is posed reclining, his head on his arm, and his walking stick still clasped in hand, as though exhausted after either a night of studying or night of celebrating. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s, a rare accessory figure of Neapolitan village scene.
