17" (43 cm.) Light brown mohair teddy with prominent snout, dark brown embroidered nose and mouth, black bead eyes, stitched ears, swivel head, disc-jointed arms and hips, felt paw pads, large feet. Condition: very good/excellent, nose worn. Marks: Steiff (early button in ear). Comments: Steiff, Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: good early bear with button, endearing expression.
