Description
A cabaret-style costume of black sequins over pink satin, fully lined, with sleeveless top and classic "diaper" pants with oversized diaper pin, decorated with blue marabou feathers, and having matching separate wristlets. The costume was worn by Morelegs Sweet Trick (Shirley) in her spoof of Marlene Dietrich in the 1933 film "Kid in Hollywood" during her song performance "We Just Couldn't Say Goodbye". Included is a photograph of Shirley wearing the costume, which was made for her by her mother, Gertrude Temple.
