Description
2 1/2"l (6 cm). The bone-framed fan with cutwork decorations hinges open and closed, and has bucolic scene of country France with man and woman in folklore costumes dancing along a riverside bank. The hand-tinted scene is silk-backed and some original fringe remains. Circa 1860.
