12" (30 cm.) Of brown felt wool, with swivel head having painted facial features, large blue side-glancing eyes with dark eyeliner, painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with painted coral lower lip, very exuberant wiry hair, five-piece brown felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips, and with painted "sun" tattoo on front torso. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Italian, mystery maker, 1930s. Value Points: the unusual doll is wearing original felt costume.
