13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate with defined upper arms, almond shaped blue glass eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips,blonde mohair wig, twill upper torso and upper arms and legs, bisque lower torso, bisque lower legs with bare feet, bisque lower arms with sculpted hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1870, the earliest French bisque bebe model. Value Points: rare doll in wonderful original condition, rare petite size, posed in antique wooden chair with original undergarment.
