Each has carved wooden head with well-defined and tinted facial features,she with carved black hair in chignon with decorative band of colorful flowers,and he with neatly side-parted short hair,each with firmly-stuffed muslin body,wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese,created by Door of Hope Mission,circa 1930,the pair represent a Chinese Bride and Groom wearing authentic and very detailed and multi-layered silk costumed. Value Points: exceptional quality and state of preservation,the bride with especially unique facial sculpting and painting of hair.
