TESTConsisting of urn-shaped tinplate stove with tinplate hearth and narrow chimney enclosed within serrated edge outer chimney. What the inventor proposed was a system of eliminating smoke from the room when fresh coals were added to the stove. Patent #11,807 concerning "Smoke Consuming Stove" was issued to E.A. Hill of Joliet, Illinois on October 17, 1854. The original patent tag is attached. A photocopy of the patent is attached. 10"H. 4"W.
