Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, separately applied pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with shapely torso, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: very faint hairline on forehead, otherwise excellent. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: exceptionally beautiful portrait lady with gleaming softly blushed complexion, wearing antique white cotton gown with handmade scalloped edging and sleevelets, undergarments, leather shoes.
