The wooden chaise a porteur (sedan chair) is covered with brown leather having gold tooled accented and circular medallions with silvered finish depicting elegant ladies; there are three beveled glass windows,hinged door to interior that is lined with green silk faille. One carrying handle is missing. French,circa 1870,a very rare size of the elegant accessory with most unusual decorations.
