Description
The art-character model of older boy, marketed by Kammer and Reinhardt as "Karl", features a bisque socket head with slender facial modelling, painted facial features, grey eyes with white eyedots and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with full lips, shading and decorative glaze on lips, brunette mohair wig, original composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Karl wears antique costume comprising blue cotton chambray suit with cotton banding, brown socks, white leatherette laced shoes, velvet cap. Signed "K*R 107 30". Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910. 12" (30 cm).
