Description

Dramatic large blue glass enamel eyes are featured on the pressed bisque socket head bebe, with plumply modelled facial features, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original composition and wooden fully jointed body with metal hands and feet. The doll wears antique costume comprising blue silk jacket dress with silk twill panel, lace trim, undergarments, lace ruffled bonnet, stockings, black leather slippers signed "C.C.". Marked "M. 2. B". Mothereau, circa 1884. 12" (30 cm).
