8" (20 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with black sculpted hair waved away from face and framed by a coronet of hair at the crown,then combed smoothly at the back into a chignon with wide loops at the back nape,painted facial features,muslin body,bisque limbs,antique costume. Condition: restoration on right shoulder edge (under costume). Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: very rare coiffure with unusual extended loops at the back nape.
