Description
A flat-topped black straw bonnet has turned up sides creating a jaunty effect and is decorated with soft feathers in black and pale blue. The interior of the bonnet is lined with crisp muslin and there are delicate neck strings. The bonnet is stamped on the interior "Au Calife de Bagdad, Herbillon, 14 Rue du Choiseul" and is preserved in fine original condition. Circa 1860.
