Description
5" (13 cm.) -10 1/2". Each is all-bisque classic standing Kewpie with blonde or brown top knot, forelock curl, blue wings, side-glancing eyes, loop-jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest flake on back arm of largest. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: designed by Rose O'Neill, made in Germany, circa 1912. Value Points: the graduated size series of classic Kewpie includes two with original paper labels, all with very fine quality of painting and sculpting.
