Highlighted by a 3"l. porcelain egg with painted floral decorations in gilt metal frame which hinges open to fitted miniature sewing tools; along with wooden pedestal pin holder, cast metal figure of cat with velvet pincushion back, book-shaped box labeled "Victorian Coronation Gift" with needle case interior; book-shaped box with embossed lid which opens to a box containing bead work fringed bookmark; bound packets of handkerchiefs with initial monogram; set of four early fashion etchings with fancy bonnets, in gilt frames; and early folio with fitted envelopes containing sampler sheets. Very good/excellent condition. Mid-1800s.
