Cloth swivel head with hard-pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes with shaded detail and white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, side painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with coral lower lip, two accent dots at bottom lip, brunette mohair wig, muslin body with shoulder and hip jointing. CONDITION: Generally Excellent. MARKS: Poupees Venus Paris (paper label).
COMMENTS: France, circa 1930. VALUE POINTS: Superb unplayed-with condition of the studio cloth doll, wearing original provincial costume of Nice, France including classic straw bonnet, jewelry, lace edged apron and blouse, striped skirt, shawl, shoes, socks.
