Bisque shoulder head of adult woman with oval plump face,very elongated throat,blonde sculpted hair arranged elaborately with two braided coronets of graduated width above a deep wave and accented by two tiny sculpted curls at center forehead,fully-sculpted pierced ears,the back hair pulled into a looped chignon,painted blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,painted black necklace ribbon with center brooch,sculpted ruffled bodice with decorative cobalt blue ribbons and bows,muslin stitch-jointed body,leather arms,sewn-on (worn) boots,fine antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1870. Value Points: very rare coiffure with a multitude of decorative details,pierced ears,sculpted necklace and fancy sculpted bodice.
