All wooden figure with one-piece carved wooden head and upper torso, oval shaped face, aquiline nose, defined eye sockets, closed mouth, carved ears, elongated throat and muscular upper torso, ball-swivel waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, separately carved fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, mid-19th century, the mannequin was the inspiration for Bru's deposed wooden poupee body. Value Points: fine large size with richly grained fine woods, excellent detail of body features.
