22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, discoloration on forehead (under wig) may be original. Marks: CCBCo (in circle) MS (intertwined letters). Comments: California Bisque Doll Co, the little known firm created dolls in Berkeley, California, circa 1925. Value Points: wonderful characterization on the rarely found doll, wearing fine antique costume.
